
Signing Cooperation Agreement / Grow-Egypt-Eurofins
5 May 2026 marked the opening of the Egyptian–Dutch Agricultural Partnership Conference, attended by H.E. Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouk, and the Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Sjoerd Sjoerdsma, alongside distinguished representatives from both governments, senior officials, private sector leaders, and research institutions, under the theme “Harvesting the Fruits of Success.”
In this context, the conference witnessed an important step toward strengthening international cooperation through the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between Grow Egypt, represented by Dr. Mohamed El Sayed, and Eurofins Global, represented by Mr. Maurits Voogt, Head of International Cooperation at Eurofins Netherlands.
Eurofins is considered one of the world’s leading companies in laboratory testing and analytical services, operating in 65 countries worldwide with more than 1,000 laboratories.
This partnership aims to provide a fully integrated system of advanced agricultural analytical services based on the latest technologies and international standards.
The agreement reflects a growing direction toward relying on precise analytical testing as a key tool for achieving sustainable agriculture and increasing export value, through strong partnerships that combine local expertise with global standards.
